A licensed professional who works in preventing, assessing, diagnosing and treating speech disorders including language, communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. They develop ways to independently manage personal/business affairs post stroke, brain injury or with dementia.
We identify and assess communication, cognition, and swallowing difficulties. We also teach exercises to improve verbal and non-verbal skills, increase swallowing and/or cognitive abilities.
